Van Rooyen Construction has extensive experience in site preparation.

Two of our most recent construction projects were in Acheson, Alberta. First, a 50 acre site development project for Impact Auto Auction Yard which included:

  • sub grade and fine grade preparation
  • geo fabric and geogrid placement,
  • gravel base coarse placement and compaction

The Impact Auto Auction Yard impact project was successfully completed under extremely tight timelines for our client.

Our second construction project in Acheson, Alberta was a 40 acre yard site development for our client Panattoni Developments for PTI’s Acheson storage yard. Working closely with the developer, Van Rooyen Construction was able to complete this project again, under extremely tight deadlines. This construction project consisted of:

  • Topsoil stripping
  • Excavation and engineered fill placement and compaction
  • Subgrade preparation
  • Geogrid placement
  • Gravel base coarse placement and compaction
  • Projects big or small – we’ll work with you closely to ensure it is completed successfully and on time. Van Rooyen Construction knows TIME is MONEY.

  • 195,000 square meters of sub grade preparation & fine grading
  • 195,000 square meters of geo- fabric and geogrid placement
  • 100,000 tons of gravel base coarse placement & compaction to 98%
  • All of this above work completed under very tight timelines – 6 weeks

  • 20,000 cubic meters of topsoil stripping
  • 105,000 cubic meters of common excavation & engineered fill placement & compaction
  • 140,000 square meters of subgrade preparation including compaction to 98% & fine grading
  • 140,000 square meters of geogrid placement
  • 100,000 tons of gravel base course placement & compaction
