The project involved the construction of a 40 acre snow melt facility including grading, roadways and stormwater facilities. Van Rooyen completing the grading component with over 200,000 m3 of excavation. As prime contractor, Van Rooyen managed the entire contract including the surfacing, underground, environmental and several other subcontractors.
This project had an aggressive schedule and Van Rooyen was able to construct this project on time while meeting all the testing requirements. Van Rooyen’s expertise with equipment mounted GPS was instrumental in being able to meet the tight timelines. Both the office and field staff continually provided excellent communication from project initiation to project completion and our performance expectations were always met or exceeded.
